Dr. Allen Lim currently serves as the Director of Sport Science for Lance Armstrong and Team Radio Shack. In this role, he helps advise riders on training, technology, and life out of a suitcase. Dr. Lim brings a diverse background to his work with Lance and the team. One that blends science with culture, real world practice, and the magic of human possibility.
Dr. Lim received his doctorate in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he and his colleagues performed research on topics that ranged from load carrying in Eastern Nepal to the use of power meters to quantify the demands of training and racing in professional cyclists. Since finishing his doctorate, Dr. Lim has worked as a coach and sport scientist for some of the best cyclists in the world. Outside of professional cycling, Dr. Lim is passionate about helping others to live healthy and productive lives, and he envisions a world where we can all safely ride our bikes around town, eat real food, and take afternoon naps, every single day.
