Check out Longboat Roadrunners. We run along the Lakeshore every Wednesday evening starting at 6pm with distances of 6 to 12 miles. People of all ability run there so you will definitely find someone to run with. We also run in High Park on Saturday mornings leaving Grenadier Restaurant at 8:40am. Let me or Mike (mike@longboatroadrunners.com) know if you plan to join us and we'll look out for you.

Hi, I'm planning to run the scotiabank marathon too! just half of it though... so Unfortunately I don´t think we have the same level. This will be my first half marathon. Nevertheless I was interested in asking ¨rogermoss¨ if those runs organised by Longboat roadrunners are free. I ran the longboat 10km on the islands last year (in 53minutes) and would love to join in something like that!

tger, Thanks for the offer but I don´t think it will work as I would have to push myself too much to run at your pace. Good luck with your training!

Magui, Sorry! I haven't been back here for a while. Hope your half marathon at scotia went well. I ran it as well. I remember it was a little windy and very humid! Our club runs are free, but we hope that people will actually join the club after they have run with us for a while. It's certainly worth coming out to try it anyway as you'll find a lot of people of varying abilities, and they are very welcoming. I'm actually going to be the coach for the next year, so can help you with your training for another half or even a full marathon. Tger, We start at University Settlement house in Grange Park and run down to the Martin Goodman trail and then head west. Different people run different distances. I usually run with the 12 mile group which goes tot he Humber Bridge and back. Let me know if either of you are interested in joining us. Cheers, Roger
