Hi Lora!! It is me, Natalie! I am so happy to be a part of the running group. I have a lot of supports in my life, but no one who runs! So this has been really great for me! I have two little girls and I have run a half marathon in the past, but I am really not a born runner and I am very much a beginner. I have enjoyed it very much to run with the running group and I am excited for everything--the runs, the racing, the improvement, and I also love the society of running! I am hoping to do 4 or 5 half marathons this year, starting with Moab, and I think I have also decided on the Wasatch Back! I am always on the lookout for a new adventure!

Thanks Lora, this is a great group!

My name is Jim, and I've been attending the Saturday runs since December. I have been doing endurance sports since 1998 (10 years!) mostly triathlons, but since 2004 I have done more running and for the past 2 years have done nothing but train for marathons, completing 6. This year I will run the Boston Marathon in April, the Wasatch Back in June with the team I ran with last year, and I will return to triathlon training. I am registered for the Spudman in July, and will most likely enter a few sprints and Oly distance races before and after that. I Might even give Top Of Utah Marathon another shot, as I enjoyed it so much last year. Looking for people to run with during the week as well, who are also training for a spring marathon. Once Boston is behind me, looking for others interested in training for triathlons.

I live in Farmington and work in Clearfield, West of the Freeport Center.

Hi my name is Nikole Wicks (you can call me Nikki) :) I am originally from San Diego and moved to Utah with my family back in 1995 and have been here ever since. I am very new to running and want to learn the basics and my long term goal is to run a half marathon. Right now I am starting with 5k's and registered for my first 5k in Ogden this May. I am very excited! I would like to pick up my endurance and speed so I can compete. I want to register for as many 5k's that I can this summer to get some good practice but could use some training groups to help me along. I look forward to meeting with you all and learning from all of you.

Sincerely,

Hey Everyone!

My name is Candice, I've lived in the Bountiful Area for almost 9 years. I have been working on my weightloss for about 18 months. I started running in March, and ran my first 10k at Bear Lake at the beginning of June. I am wanting to run my first half at the Las Vegas Marathon in December. Any additional support and assistance would be great!

I have a running buddy, but she isn't advancing in her running as quickly as I am, and I think she is getting dicouraged and keeps cancelling on me!
