I know this is totally lame since the MapMyFitness sites are about mapping routes, but sometimes it's really hard for me to get outside as much as I'd like to (have a toddler).  Does anyone have a treadmill they can recommend? Thanks!

My wife and I wore the deck out on a Proform from Sears and after that I did a lot of research on warranties - nobody that I could find has a good warranty on the deck. So I decided to buy pretty much the cheapest one i could find and figured when it wore out i would just replace it.  To make a short story long - we bought a Horizon for about 500 bucks about 3 years ago and put probably 50-75 miles a week on it in the winter between my wife and I and it's still going strong.

Thank you so much! This is great information and right on with the price range I am considering.

I purchaced a Sole 83 last year and am happy with it. it is sold directly from the manufacturer on-line. Its strength is its build quality and warranty, weakness is software functionality if you want flexible programs. If you want a good manual control, it is great. It has a great deck, wide and long, nice flex. It is closer to a club treadmill than a retail treadmill (sears or similar), and is priced at about $1500.
