I am doing the 300 mile bike challenge, almost there but the weather here in Indiana has not been good for biking, Hopefully I will have 300 by this weekend if the snow does not stick tonight.

Can someone tell me where you input the distance travelled for this challenge
I am actually going to be using this challenge for training for a four day ride from carson city, nv to las vegas, nv for the interbike convention in september.
Its a distance of about 450 miles and to travel that in four days is going to be a daunting task for me. so i am actually going to do the challenge and then work on shortning the time it takes me to complete the challenge until i can reach 300miles or more in a week.
Has any one done anything like this before???
how did it actually turn out for you???
There seems to be a bug in the miles to km calculation. It seems to have calculated that I have finished yet I am only half way through. I think they are onto it so you should see my total adjusted down unfortunately - dont you hate that.
We've got lots of crazy cycle challanges down here in the southern hemisphere. In NZ, most riders direct their effort towards our most popular national ride, The Taupo Cycle challenge that is always the last weekend in November. The ride itself is 1 lap of the lake (160 km) thats hard enough but the enduro boys do more laps.
Is it to late to start the challange?
I would like to take part.
I usualy only ride 3 or 4 times in the week, to and from work, 8 miles a day. so 300 in a month means i would have to find a longer way home or go out at the weekend.
I would have started today but it has snowed over night so it mite be later today.
would miles on the trainer count to the total or is it just road miles?
There was a problem where the miles to km calculation was applied twice, I notified them of this and I assume this has been fixed.
If your running is being logged against your cycle challenge maybe you should start a running challenge as well and see if it logs to that? Alternatively, just take your bike on your runs ;^)
I've just started my second 300m challenge, I have a commute of around 50km to work so its not too hard to clock it up - if I get really fit I may splash out on a suitable bike and have a go at the around Taupo event (New Zealand - see above)
