    Hi there,

    It is cold out and I tend to not care whether I am running indoors or out. So, each day I run a good few miles on the treadmill. While I know that its not the same as running outdoors, it is not calculated as running in my monthly reports if I report it as "gym/health club" in my log.

     My question is, does it make a difference if I log treadmill runs as "run" or "gym/health club"?

    Also, I think its great that Cardio-Treadmill is a match under gym/health club, but it does not allow for a user to acocunt for using programs such as a hills or trails program. 

     Bearing that I use hills programs on a fairly regular basis, would it be better for me to log my treadmill workouts as a "run"?

    Lastly, as a suggestion, I think that the site administrators should take the time to organize these Help! discussions. It would be nice to have help files for "training log issues," "GPS issues," "Calculator issues," etc. Its too difficult to go through all of the discussions to find what one is looking for, but for all I know my questions has been answered before. By keeping the help forum well organized people can go directly to their issue/problem and try to find an answer.

    How you log it is kind of up to you, but I wanted a Treadmill run option so I created one myself. 

    You can create your own Activity.  Select Run as the General Workout Type then enter Treadmill in the Activity Detail box.  It will then prompt you to define the exercise more specifically and you can select Running and the approximate pace.
