Seems like there is a new "My Gear" and "Gear Tracker" function...which is not working.  It looks like this is supposed to replace the shoe tracker??

I just put in tonights run and noted the new gear tracker, but I went through it and it did work and add to my mileage total.

I had a bit of a play around with the new My Gear, but had no joy. The shoe tracker is a great tool. Let's hope the powers that be iron out the bugs with this new version......

I was able to add my run today and track my shoes. All that you have to do is select the shoes category and select continue. Then the shoes that you had in the shoe track should appear.

    This worked for me anyway.

It didn't work for me this morning either.  I did select the shoe category and then hit continue but it basically died at that point.  So I just put which shoes I was using in the notes section so I can go back and edit the workout when this bug gets fixed.

I was able to select Shoes and choose my predefined shoes from the list.  However, the mileage was not added and when I went back to the workout, the checkbox had been cleared.

Also, I went through previous workouts to added new gear and none of them saved properly.  Like the above, when I revisited the workout, the checkbox had been cleared.

After not working for me yesterday evening, it now worked.  I went back and edited the two runs I had entered yesterday and was able to put my shoes on there.  Perhaps this has been fixed?

They should add a "DEFAULT" selection so that unless you tell it otherwise (or until you buy new shoes), every run you log automatically picks the shoe you select as the default.

    Hi Everyone!

Thanks for your comments and patience as we put our new Gear Tracking feature in place and smoothed out a few kinks.  It is a feature that we hope to improve upon over time so as always, we appreciate your feedback.

    Thanks!

    Hi Iron,

How did you differentiate between your shoes in the past?

I've also changed it so that if you are tracking shoes, then the shoe list will be auto-loaded, etc.  That way you don't always have to associate gear types with new workouts...

The reason behind this feature was a lot of requests to track other distances on other gear -- ie, think of a cyclist and keeping track of their cranks or wheels.  Also think about people who may use inserts and want to keep separate tabs on distance compared to their running shoes...

Thanks for everyone's patience with this --

Clanum: What version of Safari is not working?  If you clear the cache does it work? Let me know ... We tested it on Safari on our end and it came out fine...

    Cheers,

    Hi,

I just entered two workouts and was not prompted to enter the shoe's I used for the runs.  I also can't seem to figure out how to add the workouts to the shoes listed in the gear section.  Can someone tell me how to add a workout to a particular set of shoes after the workout has been entered?
