I personally think it would be greatly beneficial to add a calorie tracker to the daily log for maintaining a log of foods eaten. It would be great if it were in a database format, so by picking the foods and quantity, the database could/would give us the calories for that item.
If we had this ability, then after each meal, we could input our foods and by the end of the day the tracker would have calculated our intake so that we can compare it against our training to see whether or not we are positive or negative. It would greatly help those who are trying to limit their intake to lose a few pounds.
Thanks.
I used to use fitday and liked it but one day while looking up the calories for something I found www.thedailyplate.com and liked it much better. I now use it all the time and I believe it is more comprehenisve than fitday.
They have paid memberships and free memberships, I use the free one. It kind of has a facebook/myspace component but I don't use it much.
I agree I do wish mmr would incorporate some kind of calorie counter but it would have to be as good as thedailyplate for me to switch.
