Here are the latest VT Member signatures. All you have to do is copy and paste the image below at the end of your forum entries. It is currently a hotlink to the group page that will open in new window but I can also help you make this a hotlink to your VT if you would like.
Note: If you are using Mozilla's Firefox browser the right click copy and paste might be disallowed. CTRL + C and CTRL V copy and paste should work for you in that case.
If you have any problems let me know.

Prefontaine. Here is a quick and dirty sig for you. Not my best work but I hope that you enjoy. I will touch it up once I have a few to select from.
Sastre. 2008 Tour de France Winner.
Well good job Stevecycle. That's pretty awesome to break 1000mi!
Wow! 1000 miles. What a great accomplishment!
Another Member Sig. has been added. I need to touch it up with a border but there it is anyway, Enjoy Pertz!
I realize that cutting and pasting your sig into all of your posts is a bit cumbersome. Personally I use a shortcut program called AutoHotKeys that produces the same function with a keystroke.
If you would be interested I can develop a downloadable exe. file that would give you the same functionality. Just give me some feedback and let me know if you would like that or if you would prefer avatars instead of Sigs.

Is there no way we can add a signature in our prefrences? I haven't looked yet, but I was just curious. It seems like others who post have signatures, that would be work if you had to copy/paste every time.
Maybe I'm just not well informed. So, what kind of program is it that you use?

You're right. Most forums allow you to add a signature to your user profile. The user profiles for MMF don't seem to have that option. They do allow you to upload an Avatar but no sigs. That is why you don't see too many people in this forum with sigs.
So the cut and paste has been my workaround to the problem.
Autohotkeys is a macro/scripting program. It's not really too hard to work with so you could try it out for yourself if you like. For a free download it's a really powerful tool for those tasks that you have to do over and over. If you need any help with it just let me know.
For those that don't want to get too deep into that I was offering to create a downloadable exe file. Before I go and put any time into it I was testing the waters.

Thanks Floridan! I'm just enjoying the scenery.
I have a big decision to make this week - do I keep going west toward my original 2000 mile goal, or do I head north to Seattle on a new 3000 mile route? I was playing around on Google Maps last night and found a route that is EXACTLY 3000 miles from my neighborhood to the Golden Gate Bridge.
Steve
I say go North. Seattle is beautiful (virtually speaking), and the virtual scenery along the coast is breathtaking! When you hit San Francisco, try the crab at Fisherman's Warf. You won't be dissapointed (unless you don't like crab).
Go north. The seattle area is absolutely awesome! It's gotta be great to know that you can plan that far out. Hooray! I have a southern point noted, then I'm following the East coast as far as it'll take me. If my calculations are correct, I should be able to put down another 1260miles. I'm going to have to start playing with it.
By the way, way to go on racking up all those miles!
Lostsheep:It's gotta be great to know that you can plan that far out.
Well, my first plan was to do 2000 miles in 2008, but it is looking like I should be there by the end of August. I could just continue that route down the coast toward San Diego and see how far I get, or set myself a new goal for this 3000 mile route.
I'm planning to do another 80 miles this weekend so I need to decide soon!
Steve
Well folks I have some bad news. I've misplaced my handy little thumb drive that had all of my work on it.(That'll teach me to back things up.) So until I find it or have enough time to redouble my efforts there will be a little hiatus on all of the niffy graphics. (Hopefully it shouldn't be too long.) I'll try to keep the group interesting with some other things for the time being. Thanks for all the moral support! Keep moving!
Hey guys!
I was playing around a bit and found out that you don't have to cut and paste the html codes for these. All you really have to do is copy and paste the image itself. (Same goes for the "Return to:" links at the top of the thread.)
I realize that these type of sigs to get outdated quickly with all the miles you are covering so I thought that maybe some sigs that don't have the miles might be a better idea. I can still make them nice and custom. Just without the mileage indicator.
I'm still looking into some other ideas but I should have something for you all soon.
Edit: I've added the Prefontaine sig for those of you who might like to use it in you posts.
