Help!: keep loosing route data.

    Hi

    Love the site, but...

    after several hours of trying, I have not been able to successfully add a route to my profile.

    I can map a route but each time I go to save the system keeps asking me to login and then looses the route data I've just added.

    What is going on?

    Same happens to me at times. I think it helps to not use the Beta, turn off the altitude profile and autocenter. Also, check your browser and version against what is recommended. You might try the conference:

    Hello All,

    Our developers just updated the new mapping tool last night and we are hoping this has cleared up the "save route" problem.  Please be sure and let us know if you are still experiencing difficulties.

    I am still unable to save a route. Each time I get as far as filling in the data, then when I try to go to step two, a box pops up that says "Route Data Missing," and tells me to remap the route, that I waited too long.

    I'm not waiting long at all, I'm filling everything out immediately, and I even set my browser to accept cookies from this site. I tried on both IE and FireFox, so I don't know what the problem is. Help!

    Hey all, I just released some code that I hope will fix this one and for all.  This has been real tricky because it is very hard for us to reproduce.  CafeMama, can you please try again and report your results?

    hi jeff, yep, it happened again. I'm starting to suspect a cookie issue on my computer. How frustrating!

    I've logged in using Beta, made routes and tried to save and what I get now is:

    Please fix the following:

    • Route Type is a required field.

    But if I click on the Route tab to edit it, it immediately pops back to the Member Login tab although I'm already logged in.  So I have a route, but it's frustrating not to be able to save it.

     I LOVE the idea of this, used it last weekend to map a ride in an unfamiliar area and apart from one gravel roadm it was fantastic, but I ended up marking turns on a PostIt because I couldn't save and print the route.  Please help....
