I have an issue with your stride calculator. I am not sure how to correct it, but when I walk I use a pedometer that I can program with my stride. Which I was given a simple formula to calculate when I bought it. Mark out 10 feet and count the number of strides it takes you to cover that distance, and then divide the 10 feet by the stride count. For me it gives me a stride of 2.85...When I use your calculator it comes up with a stride of 29.85 or something like that (That is converting the feet to inches for the height part). The mileage then represented is off. When I map it, the mileage is fairly accurate...just not when I use the stride calculator you have.

When I tried punching in my 2.85, it gave my mileage as .62 miles which.....needless to say is a bit short.

Anyway to set it up to where one can just punch in the feet and inches of there stride, and run with it?
