Looking for running partners to do runs before work on Tuesday and Thursday mornings; and for long runs on Sundays.  Training for NYC marathon (November 4).  Not picky how fast you are, just would like to be out there with someone to get the mileage in, but don't want to be running in the dark without someone else!  If the above training days don't fit into your schedule, let's talk and we'll work something out.

Hi there.  I'm a Melrose-area runner and depending on your time preference I might be able to meet for week-day morning runs.  Also, you should check out the Melrose Running Club.  They meet for Sunday long runs, normally around 8am, and there's usually a volunteer who sets up a water stop along the route.  (I've never done these runs as I've only been running for about a year, and I'm not training for anything longer than a 5k.)  Info on the Sunday runs can be found in the MRC Forum on the MRC website (www.melroserunningclub.com).  The club is very friendly and I'm sure they'd welcome you for a Sunday run!

Hi Zuzu, Great! Thank you for all of your helpful information.  Also, let's chat about possible week-day morning runs.  My Email: knezacek@verizon.net.

I'm afraid I am very much a night person. If you don't mind me asking you a question, do you know any good 10mile run in the area by any chance? Allow me to jump in b/c "running route" discussion forum did not have much going on there. Malden half-marathon runner.
