Feature Requests: Map with compass points?

    Is it feasible to add compass points to the map?

     I would think they would come in handy when planning routes, especially when you are taking wind into account.

    I am looking for the same answer to this question and wondering if anyone had found a solution.  It seems that none of the google maps have a compass....
