Ok .... so here's the story. I started running just under a year ago.... and Im into it! BIG TIME! Im no Grease Lightning..... but I got my 5K's at about 21:15... just under 7min/mil. However, I just started some 5milers and 10K's and am enjoying the pride of running longer distances.
QUESTIONS.....
How many mile a week should I be running to be killin a 10K?
How long untill Im ready for a half?
Ive never run more than 7 miles in one day...... however.... I can run a 10 K and still have gas in the tank!
THX

If you can run 7 miles in a day - that's more than a 10k so you can do the 10k race.
Listen to your body - you'll need to be doing 9-10 mile training runs before you can do a 1/2 marathon.
Listen to your body, you'll need to be able to run 18-20 mile training runs before you can run a marathon.
But that's all part of the training process. You should set yourself a goal race (register for it) and train specifically for it. I f you need to go online or buy a book with a training routine you can follow.
