The "Remember Me" check box on the log in page doesn't remember me. I have to enter user ID and password every time I visit, regardless of whether I check the box or not.
Might need to set Firefox to remember passwords. Check under the Tools...Options....Security tab and see if it's set to remember passwords. Just a thought......
I have the same problem - that firefox solution isn't that great, as I don't want to remember passwords for sites - I want to granularly select which websites I maintain session with ...
My experience is that it will forget your logon no matter what you do - typically in a half hour or so. I've even kept my routes list window open and it still forgot my login. Also loging into mapping apparently doesn't always log you into the forum. MMF is definitely doing something wrong with cookies settings. Maybe the cookies get set for MMF but the code is looking under MMR, or vice versa. It's annoying - wish they'd fix it. I don't have this problem with the other similar services, so it can't be that difficult.
One problem I have diagnosed is that the 'remember me' functionality only works if you use the mapmyfitness.com URL. It doesn't work with mapmyrun.com (and I believe other subisidary URLs).
This has broken again as far as I can tell - I have had to login with mapmyfitness.com multiple times over the last couple of days in spite of clicking the remember me box. :-(
I posted on another thread about this. It was working, but now is not again. I've gotten logged out twice IN THE MIDDLE OF my current session (which has only lasted about 5 minutes). This is really getting ridiculous and frustrating. Can we get some sort of response from the administrators?
We do apologize that the "Remember Me" feature is no longer working for some people. Our developers are in the process of collecting data from users who are experiencing this problem, so that they may better troubleshoot the issue.
Please be assured that we are looking into this problem, and hope to have a resolution soon. We are very sorry for this inconvenience.
Thanks for taking the time and effort to keep us posted.
