Cycling Gear: GPS Route Download to your cellphone

Has anyone downloaded a MapMyRide file (*.gpx) to your GPS enabled cellphone and utilized the software's ability to talk you through your loop via earplug ?

If so, what software did you use to enable this ?

I'm trying to get around the stop and go checking of the hand-written route stuffed in my rear pocket.
