I map and print maps frequently for my boss for his business trips.  I checked out the options for printing with the premium membership but now I cannot print a "free" map - I don't have any other options but the premium options.  There is no way he is going to pay for this, my company certainly will not cover it.  You need to fix the printing options otherwise I need to find another site and to be honest we both really like the site.

I agree, I can find no way to print a map.  I've been using this for maping volksmarch trails, but if I can't print, it is of no use to me.  I don't use it often enough to justify paying for a membership, and it would come out of my own pocket, which I won't do.  This was a wonderful site when I first found it, but I'm disappointed in it now.

The page tells you that you can print, but you cannot. This is a real disappointment, and it renders this site completely useless. Too bad.

At the bottom of the Print Designer Page there is a Print Button. You must select a Print Template / Style and any advanced options (elevation, line color, etc.) before you can print.

    Hope that is helpful...

No actually it isn't helpful Kevin.

After you've been through that page, you get a page that says

"The Printed Map you are about to purchase will cost 2 credits. Each credit is equivalent to $1.00 USD. To pay for your purchase, you may apply your existing credit balance, purchase directly via your credit or debit card, or use a mixture of the two.

This Printed Map is available free for Premium Members; you may register to become a Premium Member directly from this page!

If you register to be a premium member, you can access this content, and others like it for free!"

So those of us who aren't premium members can't print the maps. I only want to do it once, on an unfamiliar route, so I can remember where to go (seriously navigationally challenged, I am!)

    Any other suggestions?

    Hello,

For those of you who would like to print a map without having to purchase a membership, you are able to purchase credits which may be applied towards the purchase of a map license.

Please note that what you are purchasing is the license to the map.  Thus, you will be able to print as many variations of the map as you like.

To purchase credits, begin by logging into your account.  You will then see a link along one of the top menu bars titled "My Credits."  Click on this link and you will see an option at the top to "Buy More Credits."

I apologize for any confusion regarding the Credits process, and our thanks to all of you who took the time to write.

When all else fails, you can always make the map as large as possible on the screen, then use "Print Screen" on your keyboard.
