    I had a fabulous run last night: Ran strong, bested my pace and added quite a bit of new distance. I run about 3-4 times a week and push myself a moderate amount, and last night was only a slightly harder push than normal. Afterwards I got home, stretched for 10mins, had water, showered, and about an hour after my run I got some fierce cramps all through my abs that lasted the rest of the night. It felt like they were clenched up like a fist--really painful!

     Has anyone gotten this before? Does anyone know what this is about or how to avoid it?

    I've been a runner for 30+ years and never had this experience until yesterday. I ran a fairly hard 10K race and have had stomach cramps for over 24 hours since. Ever get anything figured out?
