Running Clubs, Groups, and Partners: Houston area runner's?

Hello Everyone,

 I was just wondering if there were any runner's in the Houston area. I have only noticed one public group on here from the Houston area, and was wondering if there may be more of you out there who might not be in a group or a private one. I am looking to share run's and maybe find people interested in long group runs. 

Hope to here from all you Houston Runner's or anyone who comes to the Houston area and wants to run!

  I am no longer in Houston, but a great place to catch up with like minded runners of almost all speeds is the dirt track around Rice University downtown.  In three years of running there, I never encountered any real speedsters, but everyone else was represented.  If that doesn't work, then try hooking up with a group through the Fleet Feet store in Rice Village.

There are a variety of  clubs listed...private and public.

Can't tell you which one is the best...but I see them all represented well at all the local road races. The right one is basically going to be based on improving your running goals or just for socializing...or both

I am a Houston, TX  runner...

New to the game, like 6 months, in training for Houston half and Cleveland, Ohio  full...

I run Rice/Hermann, Buffalo Bayou, Midtown/610 Galleria/River Oaks streets.

 Just moved to over near Minute Maid park...Looking for more routes near there.

Looking to join a run club for support, too. I have to wait till my work schedule frees up a little...
