Full Description

The Route 66 10K course is a mostly flat course with some small hills. The course starts in downtown Edwardsville and travels through Edwardsville’s neighborhoods then cruises on the beautiful MCT Trails for several miles. Finishing back at City Park, where runners and walkers celebrate at the post-race festival. Awards Overall Male & Female Champions Master Male & Female Champions Awards in following age groups - 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, (50+ Females), 50-54, 55-59, 60+ Wednesday Night Cruise group training runs - Join us every Wednesday night for our Wednesday Night Cruise group training runs starting the first week in August through the Wednesday before the Route 66 10K in October. We meet at the Edwardsville Library at 6:30pm and run the Route 66 10K course. Post run water provided by the Metro Milers.
