The Austin Marathon is entering its 16th year and we believe that the marathon has entered a new stage in its life that enables it to expand and grow new opportunities. We want the Austin Marathon Foundation to be an organization that not only produces first-class running events, but also promotes Austin, TX as one of the best running cities in the nation. Our local community is also very important to us as we strive to promote a healthy, active lifestyle in our city.

Tough uphill course, nice crowd support. After 20 miles, it was downhill mostly. It helped a lot.
