Full Description

Run For the STARS 5K is for anyone looking for a great event to run or walk. Your participation will help provide summer camp experiences for persons with disabilities and their families. The event was deisnged to give competitive runners a fast course to improve their personal record and walkers a chance to enjoy a great neighborhood route.

The course is fast and generally flat with a few hills. Water stations will be at the 1 and 2 mile marks. Timing splits will be given at the 1, 2 and 3 mile marks.

The race course has been certified by the USA Track & Field organization, and by CARA (Chicago Area Runners Association).
