Race history was made on December 4, 2005 when the Zappos.com Las Vegas Marathon became the first race to run the world famous Las Vegas Strip and through the Fremont Street Experience.

The Zappos.com Las Vegas Marathon will return December 2nd 2007 with two major developments that speak to the appeal of the event. First, The full marathon will be capped at fifteen thousand participants. The half marathon wil be capped at 10,000.

Experience the rush of adrenaline on the Start line in front of Mandalay Bay when the gun goes off to Elvis' "Viva Las Vegas" and fireworks. Ideal weather and a loop course with a gradual mid-race incline followed by a downhill sprint to the finish line set the stage for exhilarating Races designed to set and break records, and shatter personal bests.
