Hamptons Marathon and Half Marathon

Brief Description

The inaugural Hamptons Marathon and Half-Marathon will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2007. The course runs through Amagansett, Springs and East Hampton with views of the Atlantic Ocean and Napeague Bay out to the Long Island Sound. This race is a Boston qualifier with a USATF Certified course. In addition, it can serve as a great training run for those runners training for the ING-NYC, Marine Corps or Chicago marathons. All proceeds from this race will be donated to Project Most and local East Hampton charities.

This is a beautiful scenic route through wooded areas and past beaches that mixes hills and some flats.
