It is concrete or asphalt, but you can run along side on the grass or dirt for most of it if you choose to. It is flat until you get to Fox Hollow Golf Course. I like doing this run the best in the summer time on a Saturday or Sunday morning.There is a McDonald's about 20 yards off the trail just West of Sheridan Blvd. where you can fill water bottles and use the restroom.
