location: Park City, Utah distance: 22.29 mi. | Route Type: Bike Ride Tags: Park City, Single Track, Mid-Mountain Trail created by: description: Course starts at the beginning of the Spiro Trail in Park City. To get to the Spiro trailhead, drive past the parking area of Park City Mountain Resort on Silver King Drive. Turn right onto Three Kings. The next left will be Crescent Drive. Park on Three Kings, then ride 0.1 mile up to the trailhead. The trail is the singletrack next to the gravel road where Crescent Drive turns left. Here is a link to the Utah mountain bike trails site with description: http://www.utahmountainbiking.com/trails/nnI posted this course file since the one at the Utah trails site seems to have had some addition made to it inadvertently. Spiro is a pretty steep climb, but then flattens out a bit on the top. The course file will get you from Park City, up Spiro to the Mid-Mountain trail, Mid-Mountain to Holly's Trail, which is a bit more technical than Mid-Mountain and takes you down to the Canyon resort and pavement back to highway 224 (go right on it to get back into Park City). A bit longer and more fun ride back to 224 from Mid-Mountain (according to a guy at White Pine Adventures, great local shop to rent a bike at by the way) is to keep on Mid-Mountain past Holly's trail and take Ambush trail to Rob's trail to Colin's trail. Note, this course takes you down Holly's to The Canyons resort to 224 and back into Park City. Enjoy! View | Print | Bookmark | Write a Story | Tell-A-Friend | Send a Message |
