location: Boulder, Colorado distance: 14.42 mi. | Route Type: Run created by: description: Quick lunch time ride from my office in central Boulder. Head west along the Boulder Creek path until you clear the city buildings and get to the end of town. Jump onto Canyon and follow until you reach Four Mile Canyon Rd. Head NW up Four Mile until you reach the turn-off for Poor Man's Road. (NOTE - Poor Man's is not paved! Gravel road that is steep for 1 1/2 miles!) Climb Poor Man's and hook up with Sunshine Canyon Road and scream back down into Boulder. Pick a easy route back to the office and Bingo, we have a quick hour lunch ride that is a leg-burner! location: Boulder, Colorado distance: 12.28 mi. | Route Type: Bike Ride created by: description: This is a relatively short loop from our shop that can be done in either direction. Most riders head north on Route 36 and turn left on Left Hand Canyon, then Left on Old Stage Rd. Old Stage Rd is a short, steep leg-burner of a climb, but after that it's a steep descent back to the shop.nnEstimated ride time: less than one hour, depending on pace.
