Bike from transition area down driveway to school district entrance/exit staying on the right, turn left on E. Mapleton, across Rt 126 following marshall's directions, and take a nearly immediate left at Sweetcreek Road. Cycle mostly flat and low hills, river on right, mountains on left, for 6.2 miles until just past the 6 mile marker. Loop back using the private driveway on event day only. Right on 126, left into left turn lane, and left again onto East Mapleton Road. Once across Rt 126 (with marshall's help) enter the school district entrance, staying on the right again, ride through the parking lot with help from volunteers, route barriers and signs to return to Transition area. Run out transition area, across football field and up trail to the deadend of Maple Road, a short, gravel road to Chestnut, left down Chestnut, right on E. Mapleton with help from marshalls. Run gentle, mixed flat and small hills 1.4 miles north on E. Mapleton with river on left, mountain on right,to loop back where volunteer and water station indicate, and return along E. Maplton until Chestnut. Left into Chestnut, uphill 4 short blocks to Alder Street, right on Alder, down that partially-gravel road to trail at end that returns past the track field to the high school field. Immediately follow indicators down to finish line on football field, following signs, music, and volunteers' directions.
