The Visitor's Center map and the maps posted on the trail are not very detailed. Trails on this route are (Starting from the Visitor's Center underpass): -->Foothills -->Dakota. As the trail keeps splitting, stay to the right. -->Palmer. Fun trail running. You will pass the Central Garden with water and bathrooms. -->Siamese Twins. -->Cabin Canyon. This trail is not marked at the Siamese Twins/Cabin Canyon intersection but it is pretty obvious when you get to it. Take a right onto Cabin Canyon at the first major trail intersection. -->Balanced Rock. You will run past the Trading Post. -->Strausenback. Argh! Oh! -->Scotsman. Take the gravel road (see PDF map above) and then take the trail behind the small house (it starts out as Columbine) -->Buckskin Charlie. -->Niobrara.
