Camel back to ross paper road
Haven't done it yet. The course starts at Camelback which is a put in and pullout place on the Hokitika river (Top of river good rapids, bottom good distance 4 kayaking)The river is reasonably deep and can be swift but apparently there is a paper road (hopefully a farmers dirt road) on the southern shore about half a klm, in this runs towards Ross township and would make excellent Coast to Coast training combined with a paddle and road bike.
