A Brit that has lived in NYC since 2000, I really enjoy this city and also like to escape from Manhattan on my bike whenever I can. The fantastic cycling lanes throughout the city but especially the entire length of the West side next to the water is where you generally find me several times a week hauling my aging mountain bike, yes still with knobbly tires, to enjoy the slightly fresher air.
