A course along the Amstel river, crossing a bridge half way, (turning point, A10 Freeway). Running direction globally from nort to south and back. Bidirectional. Tracks mostly on pavements and asphalt, with little to no elevaton difference (flat), apart from the bridge crossing The Amstel. Well lit, not too busy with traffic (for a city center course that is) and with some fairly long stretches. A handfull of road crossings have to be made, but most of the time you can run right over the cross-points without stopping.

I think this is fairly entertaining and well laid out route for running (even if I say so myself ;-). Especially considering it's in the middle of a big city. Nice straights, some open area's and not too busy with traffic. If you're in Amsterdam and like
