Webster Groves->Shrewsbury->Marloborough->Webster Groves
It all starts at mi casa and takes you through old orchard and then over highway 44 via the "Murdoch cut off." Then you proceed onto the intimidating S. Laclede Station Rd. Next you proceed through the quaint subdivision of Kenrick Manor and end up at Watson by Kenrick Cinema and Kenrick Plaza. You will remain on Watson for a a long time and at times it can be chaotic. For instance, between Kenrick theatre and Rothman Furniture there are no sidewalks or grass so you must be very careful. I take Old Watson instead of Watson because it is a steeper hill than watson although it does shave off a little distance. Watch out for cars on Elm as there are no sidewalks but there is an adequate shoulder to run on. The rest of the run is self-explanatory except for the end. When on selma, cross Highway 44 again by way of the Overpass and then its a straight shot.
......IF YOU GET TIRED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RUN THEN HERE ARE DIRECTIONS FOR SHORTCUTS
From Laclede Station:
-When you get to Kenrick Manor, go the opposite way down E. Jackson and then take Edgar over Highway 44. You will then go down a sizable hill and be at the Webster University campus. Continue to Big Bend and make a left and then a quick right onto plymouth. This will then put you back on lockwood
From Watson: Across from the 7-11 Gas Station after you pass Laclede Station is Edgar Road, take Edgar Road until it ends at Big Bend then make a left and then a quick right onto Plymouth and this will get you back to Lockwood
At all other points on the run you are better off turning around and coming back or finishing it if you feel bad or something - a 6.3 mi running route in St Louis, Missouri
