Description of this Run

You can start in either Crystal City or old town. This route takes advantage of the metro to avoid having to to an "out and back" run. Get off at King St metro. Run east along Duke St. The dogs hind leg detour from Duke to Jefferson is due to limited highway crossing points. Run all the way along Jefferson and down the pedestrain path and then follow the tracks and union st all the way until you link up with the Mt Vernon trail near the power station. The run offers a pleasant route with nice views, with only relatively little traffic exposure.
