Description of this Run

Originally, the town of Somerville, MA included seven hills. However, two of those hills were progressively removed during the last two centuries for landfill in Boston, leaving Clarendon Hill (Teele Square), Powderhouse Hill (Ball Square), Winter Hill, Spring Hill, and Prospect Hill. This 10K course reaches the peak of each remaining hill. For more information on each hill, search online for Somerville's history or visit the Seven Hills Park in Davis Square and read the plaques posted on the artistic columns.
