Description of this Bike Ride

I foolishly believed that I could get by without a car in this town. You. Can. Not. You need a car. Sidewalks mysteriously end into grass, and riding on the side of the road can bring you dangerously close to the side of a truck. It was hotter than the sun outside, I didn't bring enough water, my backpack weighed 20 pounds, I didn't wear sunblock, I only had one shoe on, I was wearing a blindfold, I have an intestinal disease - and many more reasons why I shoudln't have done this. The bus works great AND it's air conditioned. I'm going to have 19 Krispy Kremes for dinner and woe to the fool who would try to stop me.
