Run Description
This is approximately the run course for Ironman 70.3 Calgary for 2010. The turn around point on the far side of the reservoir may be adjusted to make the distance exact and to move the finish line approximately 150 m away from T2. There are two difficult hills - one on the way our as you climb out of the Elbow River Valley (@ ~4 miles) and the tough Edworthy hill (@ ~10 miles). Otherwise the terrain is flat to rolling, all on paved bike path and closed roads. Very scenic!

I don't know what kind of clown made this map but the hill at ~10 miles is NOT Edworthy Hill. It's called Weaslehead hill. Edworthy hill is another favorite of Calgary triathletes and is in the bow river valley about 8kms away from here.
