Run Description
This 15 Mile Marathon Training Run is one of the best runs in the world!
This takes you from Piper's Alley (Fleet Feet, X-Sport) through Lincoln Park (turning east on Fullerton), then south on The Famous Chicago Lake Front Trail.
This is by far more scenic than the actual Chicago Marathon and takes you into Lincoln Park, North Ave Beach, Oak Street Beach, Ohio Street Beach, Navy Pier, The Columbia Yacht Club, Buckingham Fountain, Field Museum, 112 Street Beach, Old Meigs Airport (now called Northerly Island), turning north to The Charter One Pavilion, then the eastern side of The Chicago Planetarium (for the most amazing view of the city skyline), then the east side of the Shed Aquarium.
You will not get bored on this run and the views are breathtaking.
