Run Description
Starting from the Finger Lakes Running Company head east across the commons. Make a right on 96B/Danby road at close of the commons and your first left on Hudson. Take your next left on Giles, using the sidewalk as you are running into a one-way street. In about 1/2 mile you will cross a bridge and take an immediate right to the Six Mile Creek Wildflower Preserve and trail access. Parallel the creek for the next 2.5 miles with a couple stream crossings and a few sharp uphills. At the second dam the trail will end and you will follow a utility road up to your left leading to Route 79. Take a right and run along 79 for about 1/2 mile. Take a right on Burns Road descending and ascending a hill on the road. At the top of the hill take a right onto the Cinders/Recreation Trail. Follow for about 2 miles and take a right near a playground to the "lower" cinders. Follow for approximately a mile until it dumps out back on Hudson. Take a right and follow back to the Commons and cross back to the Running Company.
