Description:
Lithia Park is one of America's great parks. Planned by John McClaren after he designed San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, Lithia Park is a large aboretum crossed with multiple trails. Some elevation gain for those who want it, but lots of flats for the less ambitious. Great place for picnics, reading, walking or running, and an ideal place to work off your meal at one of Ashland's delightful restaurants, or to reactivate the body after a long play. The walk I mapped here is but one of many possibilities in this wonderful park.
