Great single track / bike path loop around Golden's foothills. Start and finish in historic downtown Golden at the Golden City Brewery/Pub.<br><br>Across the Mine's football field parking lot, up Chimney Gulch / Windy Saddle trail, cross over onto the Beaver Brook / Lookout Mountain trail and across the top down to Apex trail. Head down Apex with options for Enchanted Forest loop or the technical loop up the Sluice Box / Grub Steak and finish at the bottom of Apex. Either trace the loop backwards or head back to Golden on the Kinney Run bike path that connects with the City of Golden 6th Ave. bike path. Connect with 19th Street and head down through the School of Mine's campus back to Golden City Brewery!<br><br>Round trip is about 10 miles if you do the loop with the bike path.<br><br>Some good single track and lung busting climbs with killer views of Golden and the Denver metroplex.
