- Exiting the transition area at the YMCA you will head down Sherman across to the board walk. Following the board walk about a mile then jumping on a paved path over to island park. Following chalk and cones. Just over the bridge is the SPRINT TURNAROUND SIGN. Sprint athletes will head right back to the finish line. Olympic and half athletes will continue past this to the dead end, following the chalk around and into the path through the forest. You will continue on the island past the boat launch, past the soccer fields on a dirt path adjacent to the train tracks. Then making a left back on Coho dr. across the tracks to a left on Harbor Island to the turnaround point. When heading back going across the tracks you will proceed STRAIGHT on Coho, NOT TURNING back on the dirt path. Following Coho dr. back to N. 3rd heading back across the bridge and back to the finish line.

HALF ATHLETES - you will head right out of the transition area to your big challenge of the day, down and then straight up to the top of the ski hill. This is a part black top, part dirt road, we are not going to kid you this will be a quad buster and we will have a timing matt there for a special award to the athlete who gets to the top and back the fastest. Then you will heado out on the course completing it twice. Mulligans Hollow Climb is JUST ONCE!
