- This is a fantastic trail run!, (I'm a beginner at it) go slow and scan 2-4 feet ahead for foot placement, check for rocks, trip potential is large for me. Also watch downhill speed. The elevation changes are up and down, feels about 1200 ft change(?) Good workout distance. Can also extend to cheltenham road down to the foothill blvd for extra hill distance.
