Great for weeknight runs where traffic is a greater concern. Both Kingman and Polk are wide boulevards. The route includes 3 busy intersections (all of which you have to pass twice)but most of the time you can keep a pretty good pace. The intersection of Kingman and 42nd is the worst as the traffic on 42nd can be relatively heavy and it doesn't have to stop. Polk and Ingersoll can be busy but it's a 4-way stop. Just make sure the drivers can see you before you proceed! 31st and Kingman has a traffic light, so often you don't have to stop. Even if you do, it's a pretty quick light. There are no real hills on this route, only a small incline heading back up Polk from Grand and a short, gradual incline heading east on Kingman from 42nd. Nothing challenging at all! A fun, easy run!
