Starting June 15, 2008, a dedicated team of runners will run one mile for every soldier that has fallen since Operation Iraqi Freedom began. We will run West to East, from outside MCLB Barstow in Barstow, CA to Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
Our mission is to raise awareness about the lives of those who fought, to support organizations that help wounded veterans and the families of those killed, and to aid the healing process for those Americans whose lives have been affected by the war.
We refuse any political affiliation or agenda, but simply honor those who have fought, and those who have fallen under the American flag.
