The 10th annual Fort Worth Zoo Run Run has a challenging new 10K & competitive 5K races feature a beautiful course, ChampionChip timing and an Olympic-style awards ceremony. 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run races cater to families.





Make tracks through the Fort Worth Zoo, and make a difference in wildlife conservation! Every year, proceeds from the Zoo Run Run support conservation efforts for animals that need your help. This year, that includes our work benefiting eagles. Of the 74 recognized eagle species, nearly half are listed as vulnerable, endangered or critically endangered. The Fort Worth Zoo is taking a lead role in eagle conservation both in Texas and worldwide. Zoo staff are partnering with more than 30 specialists from ten countries to develop the Eagle Conservation Alliance, a consortium acting to conserve eagles worldwide. Also, in partnership with Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and other Texas zoos, Zoo staff participated in a project in which an artificial nesting habitat for a pair of bald eagles in the northern Texas Panhandle was constructed. Proceeds from this year’s Zoo Run Run help support the Zoo’s conservation efforts, including those for eagles.
