I'm from Cheadle, Stoke-on-Trent in England but currently live in Geneva, Switzerland. I ran a lot during my teenage years, representing Staffordshire at cross-country and I also did fell running competitively. I really enjoyed it but footy took over for the next few years and throughout university. I took up long-distance running again about four years ago. I've run 5 marathons to date: Toronto, Canada 3:06:15, Boston, U.S.A 3:15:54, Toronto Waterfront, Canada 3:25:14 & Zurich International Marathon, Switzerland 3:19:31 and Berlin Marathon, Germany 4:10:31 (I stupidly ran with a back injury and walked over half of the race). I have been running again for around three months after a a four month of injury lay off - the physio has really helped. I'm waiting to see if I've got a place in 2010 London Marathon. My back-up is Rotterdam. Just glad to be running again despite being heavier and slower than ever before.

Very good runner, awesome times for 42.192km I live in Mexico, cyclist most but also a runner. I am going to travel to Geneve next week. I would like to receive from you a few advices for running in Geneve this season (cold and rainy?). Where to run?
