- Wore Ace 3s, MTT Singlet, Addidas shorts, compression shorts, thin socks, contacts, sun glasses, used 2 hand warmers. ~37 deg at start, partly cloudy, windy from 5-15mph, stronger wind at end of race pushing us back in from NW. Ate electrolite tabs (2) and CarboPro (3 scoops) in 32 OZ of water, bannana, whole wheat bagel with PB at 5:15AM (race start 7AM). Drank additional bottle of water and energy water orange drink before race. Wore hooded sweatshirt and warm up pants until 10min before race start. Started in 9-9:30 oace area. Left knee sore at start, right IT band issues started at 5mi mark and continued throughout race. Able to run consistant 8:30ish pace throughout race, GREAT COURSE! "slow and steady until mile 20", 1:49:03 1st Half, 1:51:22 2nd Half. GPS DATA: 3889 cal, 3:40:26, 25.96mi, 8:30 pace, max 6:30.
