- Hapuna Beach up to Mauna Key is one of the largest swaths of white sand beach on Hawaii, and your best bet for a run on the sand. Tucked into a cove alongside the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel near Puako, this stretch of beach is about 1.4 miles from end to end.
