- This route starts at the southern end of the Spring Mountains in the town of Gold Springs. From Gold Springs the route heads north linking up with Cottonwood Canyon to HWY 160. From Hwy 160 the route takes Lovell Canyon Road to Rocky Gap road and enterers Red Rock National Monument. The route uses White Rook loop, Grand Circle Trail and exist the park though a wash to the north of Turtle Head Peak. The route follows along the southern foothills of La Madre Wilderness and takes a southern pass though those mountains linking up with Griffith Peak road. After passing Griffith Peak the route follows South Loop Trail to Charleston Peak and then takes North Loop down to Deer Creek Hwy and turns left at Lyle Canyon road to the ski resort. The last stage of this route takes Bristlecone Trail to Bonanza trail and finishes on the North End of the Spring Mountains in Coal Creek.
